Packhorse path: Many thanks to Dave Shelton and Gary Childs for their work on the hedge so far.
However, there is still work that needs to be done!
There are still sections of the hedge that need to be trimmed, the flower beds under the Charwelton signs need the “flowers” that are in them replacing (this needs doing at both ends of the village), and the bark chippings need laying down on the path.
Please let me know if you want to help, or just go along and have a go.
Anyone for tennis?: Annabelle at the Manor House has kindly offered the use of her freshly cleaned tennis courts to villagers, in exchange for a donation to the village hall.
No need to book, just enter around the back of the house.
