Village Update

Remembrance Sunday: On Sunday 8th November there will be an Armistice Sunday service in the chapel at 8.30, followed by breakfast in the village hall from 9am and then a ceremony and a laying of wreaths at the war memorial at 11am. If you are planning on attending the breakfast, please let Ian know on 07795604773. The pub will be open early for those who want a drink and a catch up with fellow villagers after the ceremony.
Packhorse Path: Many thanks to those who have assisted with the hedge cutting and plants around the path. There are many people willing to offer assistance, but is there anybody in the village who would be willing to organise these pledges so that there is a working party to keep on top of things. Let me know if you are willing to do this.
Village meeting: Just a reminder that the next village meeting is on Thursday 19th November at 7pm in the village hall. We are expecting both of our West Northants Councillors to be in attendance, and as Charlie Hastie is the deputy leader of the council, this will be your opportunity to raise any burning issues you have with one of the people who can get things done!
